Job Summary:
The Warehouse Internship role performs the functions required to distribute I-CAR materials to internal and external customers. Key functions include but not limited to; printing packing slips, picking material orders, efficiently packing orders, shipping orders and conducting regular cycle counts according to company policy. This position will also assist with light maintenance duties in the I-CAR facility, as assigned.
This role is Part Time with working hours from 8AM-12PM/1PM (hours can be discussed based on school schedule) and will report into the I-CAR Appleton Technical Center (N127 S Park Dr, Appleton, WI 54914)
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Processes material orders including coordinating shipments with internal and external customers to ensure due dates are satisfied.
- Receives incoming shipments, verifies quantity received and completes necessary system processes.
- Operates internal printing machines and ensures proper inventory levels of printed materials are stocked in warehouse.
- Maintains a clean and professional work environment.
- Works with colleagues and supervisor in a team-oriented environment to ensure daily work and project goals are complete.
- Completes monthly cycle counts and additional physical inventories as required. Assists in conducting annual year-end inventory count.
- Follows company accounting and auditing procedures relating to job functions.

- The incumbent is required to regularly stand, walk, sit, handle and finger, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, and crawl, squat or kneel and bend.
- The incumbent may be required to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
- The incumbent is required to be able to hear and smell.
- The incumbent is required to see, with near, color, peripheral and depth perception vision.
Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
