About This Role

I-CAR is innovating for the better and we need a talented Associate Marketer to join our team. This role will support consistent messaging for all of I-CAR brands across multiple communication channels. While providing tactical support across the full spectrum of internal and external marketing activities, this role will be responsible for developing, managing and executing programs and activities in support of key communications strategies and plans. This includes: collateral and multimedia development, key message development, web and digital communications, social media, e-mail campaigns, trade shows, customer events, advertising, product launches, internal and leadership communications support, and PR activities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strong copywriting skills for both internal and external customers; develops and proofs marketing content by using language accurately and creatively
  • Ensures brand positioning is effectively communicated and articulated across all marketing communications
  • Prepares materials for industry trade shows; attend shows as needed to represent marketing and build media relations
  • Support identification of opportunities for press events and coordinates events from invitation through on-site support; suggest guest editorials and interviews that align with corporate and segment strategies
  • Works with marketing, product, segment leadership, technical and sales team to curate content
  • Understands the digital space in order to develop content, appropriate in length and tone, relative to the delivery channel
  • Maintains and updates content within internal and external websites, email campaigns, and social media channels to ensure information is accurate and current
  • Assists in collecting and preparing reports that analyzes program and monthly campaign results
  • Create relevant, original, high-quality content across I-CAR’s social media platforms.
  • Supports Marketing Managers and Lead Associates with the preparation and distribution of communications and promotional materials such as new product launch materials, newsletters, email campaigns, media relations, promotional support for events, call center training, and other projects as needed
  • Defines and articulates project/campaign basics such as, objectives, audiences, offers, calls to action, budgets and success measurements to develop creative briefs

 

Skills and Aptitudes

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years marketing communications experience preferred
  • Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding marketing and communication strategies
  • Strategic thinker that can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well in a cross-functional team environment
  • This individual must have excellent communication and copywriting skills
  • Stays abreast of new developments in digital content delivery and integrated marketing trends
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Platforms- Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Offic
