Job Summary: 

The Principal, Marketing (Sales Enablement) will have an instrumental role in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies and supporting materials for I-CAR’s key customer segments including Collision Repairers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Insurance providers focused on auto physical damage claims. This individual will support a cross-functional Sales and Marketing team. Communication between I-CAR internal stakeholders and customers is critical to supporting the unique needs of these customers.  

 

This individual will assist in developing marketing strategies and sales enablement materials, with a focus on tailored messages development and channel delivery that resonates with the target customer audiences. Cross functional collaboration on launches and ongoing initiatives will be critical; key internal stakeholders include Product Management, Product Development, and Talent Programming. The Principal, Marketing (Sales Enablement) will also work closely with functional marketing staff including CRM (Customer Relationship Management; Salesforce), digital media, communications, and event planning to create distinct, compelling, and coordinated content and events that articulate the value proposition for engagement with I-CAR.  

 
Primary Responsibilities 

  • Participate in developing marketing and sales enablement strategies for key I-CAR customer segment groups including Collision Repair, Insurance, and OEM's adapt and adjust strategy and materials as business needs dictate  

  • Develop and execute successful marketing communication plans and materials for ongoing sales support and product launches including defining objectives, identifying audiences, message mapping, determining an integrated marketing mix, timeline development, budgeting, execution of all deliverables, and success measurements 

  • Design and develop sales toolkits from concept to delivery  

  • Maximize CRM system to drive enhanced customer engagement.  

  • Develop briefing documents, tools, and scripts for the Customer Care call center to support sales efforts 

  • Support segment sales team by capturing, synthesizing, and leveraging the Voice-Of-The-Customer at I-CAR and industry events, trade shows, and meetings for improved segment messaging  

  • Oversee digital communications including webinars, email development and bulk broadcast SMS targeting where appropriate adhering to relevant channel regulations  

  • Plan and execute internal and external communications including product sheets, collateral, web content, trade advertising, call center scripts, newsletters, booth graphics, case studies, signage, testimonials, and other support tools 

  • Plan, organize, and execute events including tradeshows, customer and partner meetings, industry shows, sales training sessions and other corporate events. 

  • Support executive leaders through presentation and script development for customer segment-related activities 

  • Work with Product and Technical teams to deliver timely and topical technical information to various industry audiences 

  • Constantly seek continuous improvement to explore, recommend, use, and optimize communication methods, channels, and technologies  

  • Ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines and trademarks in all marketing materials and activities 

 
Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field required 
  • Master’s degree (MBA) is a plus 

  • Minimum of 5-7 years professional experience in Marketing required  

  • 3+ years of professional experience in the automotive, OEM, insurance, collision repair is strongly preferred 

  • Successful experience leading the development of marketing strategies with a focus on sales enablement  

  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and collaborative team player

  • Proven ability to establish relationships to successfully drive desired business outcomes
