Position Summary: The Trainer, Program Delivery provides technical training to support, deliver, maintain, and drive process improvements within delivery programs. The Trainer, Program Delivery: Assists with creation and delivery of training curriculum for instructors and In-Shop assessors; Partners with the Delivery Team to achieve high quality and consistent instructor and assessor delivery.

 

Primary Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to, the following. (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Supports Delivery Enablement Team in the execution of on boarding and development training programs for Instructors and Assessors, using Learning Management System (LMS) tools and methodologies.
  • Supports the execution of product launch training strategies, delivery timelines, resources, and instructor readiness.
  • Provides training during Instructor and Assessor Qualification Workshop (IQW) programs.
  • Works closely with supervisor in program development of training manuals to aid instructors/assessors and members of the management team with adherence to processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with I-CAR Staff to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Responsible for achieving established goals.
  • Reviews training metrics and feedback data to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Identifies and supports opportunities to improve business processes and actively participates in related efforts.
  • Effectively deliver remote program training and maintain engagement through virtual collaboration tools.
  • Assists in delivery of Welding, Hands-On and In-Shop Knowledge Assessment events. 

 

Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and remote communication tools.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online learning tools.
  • In depth understanding of collision repair procedures and technology.
  • Thorough knowledge and skills for welding and hands-on processes
  • Ability to create, understand and use data reports, data analysis, and manuals.
  • Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business conditions.
  • Builds productive business relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; skilled at presenting in both live and virtual environments.

 

Education and Experience:

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years instruction experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of collision industry experience.

Desired

  • Current I-CAR Platinum
  • Vocational certificate in collision repair
  • Manufacture certification(s) or training
  • ISO or AWS welding certification
  • ASE Master Collision Repair Certification

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Computer operations (including email) and telephone is approximately 50%.
  • The noise level in the environment is moderate to loud.
  • The incumbent is required to regularly stand, walk, sit, handle and finger, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, and crawl, squat or kneel and bend. 
  • May be required to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds. 
  • Required to hear and smell. 
  • Required to see, with near, color, peripheral and depth perception vision.
